David Heaney

David Heaney is a Machine Learning Engineer II at Markforged. Prior to this, David worked at Teton Simulation Software as a Software Engineer and was later acquired by Markforged. With experience at companies like MatrixSpace and Draper, David has a background in software engineering and deep vision models. David has also worked as a SURP Researcher at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and as an NSF REU Researcher at the University of Houston. Additionally, David has experience as a Database Developer Intern at Handel Information Technologies and as a Landscaper for Dave Foreman, Wyoming Landowner. David is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Westminster Theological Seminary, with previous degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Wyoming.
