Matteo Pace

Matteo Pace is a Software Engineer at Tetrate since March 2022, focusing on building Zero Trust solutions powered by Envoy and Istio, particularly working on the OWASP Coraza WAF and utilizing Wasm Envoy extensibility features. Additionally, Matteo serves as a Developer for the OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set since June 2023 and is a Maintainer for Coraza Technologies' OWASP Coraza WAF since November 2022. Matteo completed a Master's thesis at Politecnico di Torino in December 2021, exploring Zero Trust Networks with Istio and developing a C++ Web Application Firewall module using WebAssembly technology. Matteo holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Cybersecurity and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, both from Politecnico di Torino, and a High School Diploma in Applied Sciences from Liceo Scientifico "Maria Curie."
