Paul Merrison

Paul Merrison is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Tetrate since November 2021, Paul oversees a team of engineers focused on open source and cloud software, product definition, and information security. Prior to Tetrate, Paul spent over 17 years at IBM, where roles included Senior Software Engineering Manager and Development Manager, with significant contributions in delivering PaaS offerings, transitioning cloud services to Kubernetes, and managing large cross-functional teams for product launches. Paul holds a Master’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick, earned from 1999 to 2003.
