Tom Luce is a prominent leader with extensive experience in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board for Texas 2036, a 501(c)(3) focused on data-driven policy making, Luce is also the Founding President of the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute. Additional roles include consulting for various organizations, being a member of the Board of Directors at Encore Health Resources, and holding the position of Chairman of the Board and Founding CEO at the National Math and Science Initiative, Inc. Luce has previously served as an Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Education and was a founding partner at Hughes & Luce. Educationally, Luce holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Doctor of Law (JD) from Southern Methodist University.
