Texas Downtown (TXD) is Texas' only statewide organization dedicated to downtowns! We are an independent, nonprofit organization. Our members include representatives from cities and towns of all sizes, economic development corporations, chambers of commerce, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses, as well as individuals.

Downtown redevelopment is a key component of a community's economic development strategy. Successful downtowns attract residents, visitors, small businesses, and primary job creators.
