Lee Hon is currently serving as the elected Criminal District Attorney of Polk County, Texas. Admitted to practice law in Mississippi in 1990 and Texas in 1994, Lee has a robust legal background that includes positions as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas and Assistant District Attorney in Polk County. Lee also presided as President of the Texas District and County Attorneys Association in 2012 and received the Trial Advocacy Award from the Association of Government Attorneys in Capital Litigation for the 2002-2003 period. Lee earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Sam Houston State University and a Doctor of Law from the University of Mississippi School of Law. Lee is currently practicing law at Hon Law Firm, PLLC.
