Gary Landry is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in optical systems and network technologies. Currently serving as an Optical Systems Engineer and Senior Member of the Technical Staff at Texas Instruments since July 2021, Gary drives the development of a new Optical Networking Signal Chain product line. Prior roles include significant contributions to optical sensing systems at Texas Instruments and II-VI Incorporated, as well as principal design work at Finisar Corporation, focusing on optical assemblies and lasers. Gary's expertise spans from advanced optical design to systems engineering, with a solid academic foundation in Electrical Engineering, holding a Ph.D. and M.S. from The University of Texas at Arlington.
