Kathy Brown

Kathy Brown is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering who has previously served as a researcher at The University of Texas at Dallas, focusing on advancing ultrasound applications in medicine and biology. From 1995 to 1997, Kathy worked at the University of Washington as a research assistant, teaching assistant, and lecturer. Kathy also held various engineering and managerial roles at major corporations including NEC Corporation of America and Texas Instruments, where they contributed to significant projects and innovations, such as a groundbreaking chip design and multiple patents in wireless modem technology. Kathy holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas and is currently pursuing degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and the University of Washington.
