Anna Walsh has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Anna started their career as an Editorial Intern at Urbanite and Baltimore City Paper in 2012. Anna then worked as a Publications Coordinator Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from 2012 to 2013. Anna joined The Tartan as a Staff Member from 2010 to 2013.

In 2013, Anna worked as a Sports Copy Editor at The York Dispatch before moving on to Baltimore City Paper as a Copy/Eats & Drinks Editor and later as a Managing Editor/Eats & Drinks Editor from 2014 to 2016. Anna also gained experience as a Proofreader at Stansberry Research in 2016.

Anna's career then took a turn towards a larger scale media outlet, The Washington Post, where they worked as a Multiplatform Editor from 2016 to 2019. Anna then transitioned to Texas Monthly, where they initially served as a Managing Editor from 2019 to 2022. Currently, Anna holds the position of Director of Editorial Operations at Texas Monthly.

Anna Walsh's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Glenelg Country School. Anna then went on to study at Carnegie Mellon University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing with a minor in History.
