Scott Ray

Scott Ray is an experienced project manager currently working at Texas Monthly since August 2021, having previously held the role of Associate Project Manager. Ray has a strong academic background with a Doctor of Philosophy in English/Creative Writing from the University of North Texas, where the individual also served as a Teaching Fellow from August 2017 to May 2022. Prior to this, Ray contributed to the American Literary Review in various editorial roles, including Managing Editor and Production Editor, from April 2018 to May 2021. Additional experience includes an Associate Faculty position at NorthWest Arkansas Community College and editorial work at Arkansas International and the University of Arkansas. Ray holds a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Mississippi.
