They commercialize cathodes that can replace commercial battery cathodesand can be deployed in portable electronics, electric vehicles, drones, robots, and more. It is comprised of metals such as nickel, manganese, aluminum, iron, zinc, and more and are synthesized through standard industrial manufacturing processes. This synthesis route is used for producing mainstream cathode materials for electric vehicles across the world, namely, lithium nickel-manganese-cobalt oxide (NMC) and lithium nickel-cobalt-aluminum oxide (NCA). Their products also offer a value proposition that enables at least 10% higher energy density, 25% lower raw material costs, increased sustainability, and a secure and benign battery supply chain.
