Cathi Swanson

Cathi Swanson has a long history of work experience in the design and user experience fields. Cathi began their career in 1998 as the Art Director at iD8 Marketing. In 2001, Cathi moved to Pace Design Co. as the Head of Product and Brand Design. In 2005, they became a Senior Design Contractor at WebMD, and in 2006, they moved to Maycreate in the same role. In 2007, Cathi joined Unum as a Senior Design Consultant, and in 2013, they became the Digital Design Specialist at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. In 2015, they moved to Skuid as the Design Director, and in 2019, they joined Text Request as the VP of Design and User Experience, and later as the Director of Product Design and UX, and Senior Product Designer.

Cathi Swanson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Graphic Design from the University of Florida and has also studied Graphic Design at the University of the Arts London. Additionally, Cathi has obtained four certifications: Insights for Innovation from IDEO U in September 2022, Power of Purpose from IDEO U in February 2022, Designing for Change from IDEO U in November 2021, and ExperienceInnovation™ Facilitator from ExperiencePoint in April 2016.
