Greg Scown

Greg Scown is an experienced technology professional currently serving as a Board Member and Chief Operating Officer at TextExpander since January 2016. Scown supervises engineering teams, manages finances, oversees HR and payroll, and manages the company's SaaS services. Prior to TextExpander, Scown founded Smile, a productivity software company, and held various roles, including Director of Engineering at Black Octopus and software developer at Kibu. Scown's early career includes significant contributions at Apple Computer as a Senior Software Engineer and Engineering Manager. Scown holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, obtained in 1994.
