Jason Carroll

Jason Carroll has a strong background in product management, with a focus on educational technology. Jason started their career as a Technology Specialist at OVEC, where they provided training services and developed custom web and database applications. Jason then worked as an Instructional Technology Consultant at CKSEC for seven years before joining Texthelp in 2012. At Texthelp, they held various roles, including Professional Development Manager, Educational Consultant, Product Marketing Manager, Global Product Manager, and Director of Product Management. In January 2021, they were promoted to Chief Product Officer. Additionally, Jason worked as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown College from 2007 to 2009.

Jason Carroll completed their education in a chronological manner. Jason started their educational journey by attending West Carter High School from 1995 to 1999, where they did not receive a specific degree or field of study. Continuing their academic pursuits, Jason attended Morehead State University from 1999 to 2001, obtaining a BBA in Computer Information Systems. Jason then transferred to the University of Kentucky from 2001 to 2003, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Finance.

After gaining undergraduate experience, Jason pursued further education at Morehead State University from 2004 to 2006, successfully completing an MBA program. Simultaneously, they attended California State University, Northridge in 2005 and 2006, obtaining an Assistive Technology Applications Certificate (ATACP).

In addition to their formal degrees, Jason also acquired various certifications. In 2006, they obtained the Assistive Technology Applications Certificate from California State University at Northridge. Following this, in 2012, they earned the designation of Six Sigma Black Belt from Aveta Business Institute. In 2014, Jason became a Certified Google Education Trainer through Google.
