Andrew Cotton is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of Platform and Security Engineering at TextNow since October 2021. In this role, Andrew has successfully led and scaled critical teams in Site Reliability Engineering, Backend Platform, Client Platform, and SecOps, focusing on reliability, performance, and security while ensuring regulatory compliance through automation strategies. Previously, Andrew held positions at Valimail as Senior Manager of Technical Operations, managing IT infrastructure and operations, and at CommerceHub as Manager of Productivity Engineering & Support, guiding high-performing software teams. Andrew's career also includes roles at Apprenda, The Ayco Company, CommerceHub, Northeast Parent and Child Society, and The College of Saint Rose, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering and IT support. Holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Information Technology and Computer Information Systems from The College of Saint Rose, Andrew possesses a comprehensive skill set and commitment to excellence in the technology sector.
