Jon Halk

Jon Halk has a diverse and extensive work experience in the design and product field. Jon currently holds the position of Sr. Director of Design & Product at TextNow since October 2021, where they previously served as the Director of Design from September 2019 to October 2021. Before joining TextNow, Jon worked at Shopify as a User Experience Manager from March 2019 to September 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Lead Product Designer at TextNow from May 2015 to March 2019. Jon also gained valuable experience at Amazon, where they served as a UX Designer from February 2014 to May 2015. Their earlier roles include being a Lead Product Designer at TextNow from May 2011 to February 2014, and serving as the Co-Founder and Creative Director at PixelLab from October 2007 to October 2011. Jon began their career as an Interaction Designer at eSolutionsGroup in 2006. Overall, Jon has demonstrated a consistent track record of success and growth in their career in the design and product field.

Jon Halk completed their education with an Advanced Diploma (Co-operative) in Information Technology from Fanshawe College. Jon attended Fanshawe College from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, Jon attended Harris Institute for the Arts in 2000 and 2001, where they pursued a degree in Audio Engineering with a focus on Audio Production & Acoustics.
