Max Rowland

Max Rowland began their work experience in 2013 as a Software Developer at Express Auto, where they worked on their custom CRM using CakePHP and the LAMP stack. In 2014, they joined Nexient as a Software Developer, where they primarily worked with Java and PHP, handling bug fixes and root cause analysis for healthcare web applications. Max also served as the tech lead and backend platform engineer for an online retailer. In 2017, Max joined Best Buy as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on building Java microservices and later replatforming the legacy subscriptions platform. Since 2021, they have been working at TextNow as a Senior Software Developer and Software Engineer.

Max Rowland attended Western Michigan University from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
