Ryan Truhn

Ryan Truhn is currently a Mechanical Engineer at Textron Systems since July 2023. Previously, Ryan completed a Master's degree in Solid Mechanics/Design and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Manhattan College. Notable projects include developing machine learning models to enhance aviation safety, as presented at the 2023 FAA Data Challenge, and investigating stress field predictions using convolutional neural networks. Ryan has held various engineering roles, including Senior Engineering Intern at Kerelaw Engineering, where Ryan managed product development projects, and mechanical engineering intern positions at Lizardos Engineering Associates and Siemens Healthineers, focusing on design and reliability engineering tasks. Additionally, Ryan served as a graduate assistant at Manhattan College and contributed to FIRST Robotics, where Ryan mentored peers and competed in engineering challenges.
