David McCabe

David McCabe is an accomplished executive with over two decades of experience in health, safety, and sustainability, currently serving as the Executive Director of Health, Safety & Sustainability at Textron since October 2000. McCabe leads global initiatives in health, safety, sustainability, and loss prevention, setting the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and managing disclosures related to TCFD and SASB. Previous roles include Director of Environment, Energy & Loss Prevention and Six Sigma Black Belt at Textron, along with managerial responsibilities in corporate remediation at Textron. Earlier career highlights include serving as Geosciences Group Leader and Senior Hydrogeologist at MACTEC and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Connecticut. McCabe holds a Master’s degree in Geology from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Marine Science from the University of Miami.
