Lawrence Sommers

Lawrence Sommers possesses extensive experience in aviation and management. Currently serving as the Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at Bell Helicopter since December 2013, Sommers has also held the position of Senior Flight Instructor Specialist at Textron since November 2004. Prior to these roles, Sommers worked as an Accounting Manager at Allstate from October 1997 to November 2004 and served in the U.S. Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 2, where responsibilities included Troop Flight Instructor, from July 1986 to January 1995. Sommers earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Administration from Parks College of St. Louis University between 1983 and 1986.
