Sierra Kennedy

Sierra Kennedy is a seasoned corporate communications professional with a diverse background in internal communications, public relations, and leadership development. Currently serving as the Corporate Communications Manager at Textron since June 2021, Sierra manages a team and collaborates with the Executive VP of HR to enhance employee engagement through bi-monthly communications. Prior experience includes serving as an Internal Communications Officer at Rolls-Royce, where responsibilities encompassed managing communications for employees and producing content for a weekly newsletter, as well as content creation for the Defense section of the company's website. Sierra’s career also includes roles at Dixie Chopper as a Public Relations and Communications Specialist and as a Staff Writer at the University of North Alabama's newspaper. In addition to professional experience, Sierra is pursuing a Doctor of Education at Vanderbilt University, building on an MBA from Ohio University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of North Alabama.
