Robert Young

Robert Young is a board member at Texture Capital and a former CEO of Liquidnet Canada. Robert has also served on the advisory boards of Social Venture Exchange: U.S. (SVX.US) and SenaHill Partners, LP.

Young began their career in the financial industry in 2005 as a member of the global operating committee at Liquidnet. Robert later became the CEO of Liquidnet Canada, a position they held for 10 years. In 2016, they joined the advisory board of SVX.us, and in 2020 they joined the advisory board of SenaHill Partners.

Texture Capital is an impact-first marketplace that connects impact ventures, funds, and investors. The company leverages emergent technology and regulations to catalyze new debt and equity investment capital for ventures that have demonstrable social and/or environmental impact.

Robert Young's educational career includes a degree in electronic engineering from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, as well as corporate directorships from York University and the Radio College of Canada. Robert also holds certifications from the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) in CCO, Securities and Futures Commission in Responsible Officer, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 23 and Series 7, and IIROC in Partner, Director, Officer.
