Jonathon Mitchell-Smith

Jonathon Mitchell-Smith began their work experience as a Research Associate at the University of Nottingham in April 2015. Jonathon held this position until April 2018. During their time at the university, they also served as a PG Researcher from July 2014 to August 2018 and as a Research Fellow from March 2018 to September 2018. From October 2018 to March 2019, Jonathon worked as an ICURe early career researcher at the university.

In June 2019, Jonathon Mitchell-Smith co-founded and became the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Texture Jet Ltd. Jonathon held this position until March 2020 when they became the Chief Executive Officer. No end date has been provided for this role.

Jonathon Mitchell-Smith earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Advanced Manufacturing and Processes from the University of Nottingham between 2014 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed their MEng Design Engineering degree with a focus on Electro-Mechanical design at the same university from 2010 to 2014. Their education journey began at Hull College, where they pursued a ND Engineering degree in Multi Disciplinary Engineering from 2008 to 2010.
