Amanda Sands

Amanda Sands has six years of professional work experience. Amanda began their career in 2013 as an English Second Language Teacher at POLY School. In 2015, they moved to Kids Club in the same role. Amanda then joined Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes in 2016 as a Learning Consultant and Reading Clinician. In 2018, they began working at Cochlear in two roles: Reimbursement Operations Preclaim Specialist and Intake Specialist. In 2022, they joined Turing School of Software & Design as a Front End Software Developer. Most recently, in 2023, they began working at TextUs as a Junior Frontend Software Engineer.

Amanda Sands attended Turing School of Software & Design from 2022 to 2022, where they obtained a Certificate in Software Development-Front End Engineering. Amanda then attended Colorado College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters. In addition, they obtained a TEFL certification from the University of Toronto in January 2015.
