Corey Hyllested

Corey Hyllested is an accomplished professional in machine learning and data science, currently serving as an ML specialist at TextUs since January 2025. Previously, Corey worked as a People Empowerer at Gusto and as the Head of Data and Product at Westcott Multimedia, where significant advancements in event identification and platform usage were achieved through machine learning. As an AI/ML Principal at Slalom Build, Corey played a pivotal role in establishing a high-performing AI/ML practice and contributed to revenue growth. Additionally, Corey has experience as an adjunct faculty instructor at the University of Colorado Boulder and UC Berkeley, sharing expertise in information analytics, machine learning, and computer science. Corey's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Information Science from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
