Pearson Brown is the owner of Stroppy Cat Publications Ltd and has run a self-employed writing business since 2010. They owned English International Lyon from 1982 to 2007. They earned a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge (1969–1972) and studied there from 1970 to 1973.
