Patrick Franklin

Patrick Franklin currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Teya, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Patrick held a consulting role in Platform Services for TD Bank and Remitly from March 2022 to December 2023. A significant tenure at American Express as EVP & CTO was maintained from April 2018 to March 2022. Earlier career achievements include serving as Vice President of Engineering at Google from 2014 to 2016, Vice President and CTO of Amazon Consumables at Amazon.com from 2007 to 2014, and various engineering roles at Microsoft and Intel. Patrick began a career in technology as a VLSI Architect at Intel from 1988 to 1996, following service as a Sailor in the US Navy from June 1984 to January 1991. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Oregon State University, obtained between 1984 and 1988, and attendance at Wilson High School from 1979 to 1981.
