James O'Connell

James O'Connell is an experienced test pilot with a distinguished career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a test pilot at Aviations Flight Test Services and holding the position of Chief Flight Instructor and test pilot at the Test Flying Academy of South Africa since January 2014, O'Connell's expertise is further reinforced by an extensive tenure with the South African Air Force, where involvement as a test pilot has been ongoing since 1985.
