Catherine Heddle

Director, Medical Writing at TFS

Catherine Heddle has a diverse work experience in the fields of clinical research, pharmaceuticals, and academia. Catherine started their career as a Postdoc at the University of Bristol, where they conducted research on the molecular basis of the host matrix protein responsive system in streptococci and the role of monocarboxylate transporters in lactate transportation in the heart. Catherine then joined AstraZeneca as a Postdoc, where they successfully managed projects related to the delivery of protein products and acquired expertise in mammalian and insect cell culture. Catherine later joined TFS - Clinical Contract Research Organization, starting as a Medical Writer and progressing to roles such as Senior Medical Writer, Team Leader, Associate Director, and now Director of Medical Writing. Their experience in medical writing spans over a decade, showcasing their expertise in this field.

Catherine Heddle's education history begins in 1990 when they enrolled at the University of Warwick. Catherine pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Microbial Technology, completing their studies in 1993. Following this, Catherine Heddle went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biochemistry from the University of Leicester, where they studied from 1993 to 1997.
