Samuel Iliffe is a Designer, Engineer, and Maker with a focus on emerging technologies, nature, and the environment. They completed a double master's in Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. Previously, Samuel served as a Design Researcher in Residence at the Design Museum, examining the UK's water quality in relation to fertilizer use, and was the first Designer in Residence at the Royal Academy of Arts, exploring connections with waste. As a Design Engineer at Petit Pli, they developed the Knot Tile, a knitted textile designed to grow with children. Currently, Samuel is the Head of Research and Development at TG0, leading various R&D projects for a startup focused on novel tactile control products.
