Floris Barthel is an Assistant Professor at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) since August 2021, focusing on brain tumor genomics. Previously, Floris Barthel conducted postdoctoral research at The Jackson Laboratory from January 2017 to August 2021 and served as a Senior Research Assistant at MD Anderson Cancer Center from February 2014 to December 2016. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, obtained from 2007 to 2014.
