Bill Powell

Bill Powell is a geoscientist with extensive experience in subsurface interpretation and analysis for hydrocarbon exploration, specializing in CCS concept development and shallow site investigation. Currently, Bill works as a Senior Geoscientist at TGS, focusing on New Energy Solutions, and previously held a senior position at PGS where they developed capabilities for carbon storage site characterization. Bill earned an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience with Distinction from Royal Holloway, University of London, and holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Portsmouth. Their prior consulting work involved prospect evaluations across various regions, including Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and South Africa.
