David Cushing is currently the Chief Geophysicist at TGS, a role they have held since 2024. Previously, they served as Chief Geophysicist and Team Leader at PGS from 2012 to 2016, and held senior positions at Gardline Geosciences Limited and in academia as Head of Physics at multiple schools. David earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics with QTS from Sheffield Hallam University, followed by an M.Res in the Physics of the Earth and Atmosphere from the University of Leeds and a Master of Science in Data Science with AI from the University of Liverpool Online Programmes. They have also contributed as an A-level Physics Examiner for Edexcel and OCR.
