Shayane Gonzalez holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Geophysics from Universidade Federal Fluminense and Observatório Nacional, respectively, with a focus on petroleum reservoir characterization. Currently, Shayane is pursuing a PhD at Observatório Nacional, developing methodologies in Python for solving inverse problems in Geophysics. They have previously worked as a Geophysics intern at Schlumberger, focusing on quality control for the software Petrel, and served as a Geoscience Specialist at Tetra Tech. Shayane is currently employed as an Imaging Geophysicist at TGS and has recently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Observatório Nacional, interpreting multifrequency data in basins with volcanic rocks.
