Sylvia Gomes

Sylvia Gomes has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Sylvia began their career at PwC Brasil in 1996, where they worked in outsourcing until 1997. Sylvia then joined SITA as an Accountant and later became a Billing Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean. During their time at SITA, they played a significant role in improving billing processes and reducing inconsistencies.

In 2003, Sylvia joined Baker Hughes, a GE company, where they held various positions, including Regional Accountant, Regional Accounting Manager, Brazil Country Controller, and finally, Latam & Africa Sub-Sahara Controller. Their responsibilities included managing budgets, participating in mergers and acquisitions processes, and overseeing due diligence for multiple countries.

In 2010, Sylvia joined Newpark Drilling Fluids as the Finance Director and CFO, where they played an essential role in the startup of the company's operations in Brazil and implemented cost-saving measures.

Most recently, Sylvia joined TGS in 2020 as the LATAM Accounting Director.
