Tyler McAfee

Tyler McAfee has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and security. Tyler has held various roles in different companies, starting with their current position as the Director of Global IT & Security at TGS since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Security Manager at TGS starting in September 2020.

Before joining TGS, Tyler spent a significant period at EP ENERGY, where they served as the IT Principal-Cybersecurity from April 2019 to April 2020. In this role, they had sole responsibility for all aspects of cybersecurity, including strategy, governance, and technical implementation. Additionally, they managed the Network & Telecom Services team, the IT Security Operations team, and the IAM/IGA team during their time at EP ENERGY from May 2012 to April 2019.

Before EP ENERGY, Tyler worked at El Paso Corp as a Principal Network Engineer from May 2007 to May 2012. In this role, they oversaw the domestic and international network infrastructure for the Exploration & Production Business Unit and supported Shared Services Network and Telecom for the Eastern US and International.

Tyler's earlier career includes a position as a Senior Network Engineer at CSC from July 2001 to May 2007. In this role, they were responsible for designing and delivering complex enterprise WAN and LAN projects, as well as providing support and mentoring to the network engineering team.
