Andy K

Andy K has over a decade of experience in information security and risk management, serving as Deputy CISO, Head of Information Assurance, and Compliance and Accreditation Manager at Thales from January 2012 to March 2022. In these roles, Andy K managed the internal and external accreditation program for Thales IS environments, focusing on Information Assurance and Information Risk Management. Prior to Thales, Andy K worked as a Software Engineer at British Aerospace Military Aircraft Ltd from September 1990 to March 1993, contributing to the Eurofighter Typhoon Project and leading a software team for aerodrome lighting and ground movement control systems. Andy K holds an HND in Computer Engineering from Teesside University, earned between January 1987 and January 1990.
