Andy Marlor

Andy Marlor is an experienced and proactive business manager and technical leader specializing in research, technology, and innovation in the defence sector. They hold an MSc in Sound and Vibration Studies from the University of Southampton, where they achieved a distinction, and an MEng in Electrical Engineering from the same institution. Currently, Andy serves as the Sector Director for Future Capabilities at Thales, focusing on the future prosperity of the UWS UK business, and has previously held significant roles in the Royal Navy, including Deputy Weapon Engineer Officer and Submarine Combat Systems and Sensors Capability Manager. With a strong background in maritime research and development, Andy is dedicated to fostering collaboration and sustainable growth within the industry.
