Didier Espinet

Didier Espinet is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat intelligence and information security management. Currently serving as the Threat Intelligence leader and Chief Information Security Officer for Thales since April 2019, Didier oversees the integration of threat intelligence initiatives post-Gemalto's acquisition and maintains a leadership role within the Thales DIS Global Business Unit. Didier has been with Gemalto since November 2000, focusing on cyber security assessment and management, and has led the company’s CERT, while also formulating mid to long-range security plans based on ISO27015 standards. Previous roles include Corporate Information Systems Security Manager at Gemalto, Vice-Director of the Common Criteria Security Evaluation Laboratory at Algoriel, and various positions in banking security at XLOG. Didier holds an engineering degree in Electronic and Information Technologies from Eseo, obtained between 1983 and 1988.
