Nir Barak

Nir Barak serves as the Chief Medical Advisor at Tharimmune, Inc. since October 2023, contributing to the development of therapeutic candidates for rare, inflammatory, and oncologic diseases. In addition, Nir Barak is the Founder of RNR BioMedical Inc., which focuses on patient-centered treatments for rare diseases through innovative drug repurposing strategies. Previously, Nir Barak held the position of Senior VP of Scientific Affairs at 9 Meters Biopharma, Inc. and served as Chief Medical Officer and CEO at RDD Pharma Ltd. Nir Barak's earlier roles include Chief Scientific Officer at Obecure and Attending Physician at Beilinson Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Tel Aviv University, Board Certification in Internal Medicine from Sapir Medical Center, and certification as a Clinical Nutrition Support Physician from the University of Chicago.
