Johan du Toit

Johan du Toit is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and IT management. Currently serving as the Group Infrastructure Engineer/Architect at Tharisa since February 2024, Johan previously held the role of IT Manager at Krypton Mining, where strategic alignment of IT with business objectives was emphasized. As Head of Infrastructure and Operations at Lonmin Platinum from 2013 to 2019, Johan achieved significant cost reductions while managing a substantial turnover. Earlier roles include Infrastructure Architect at ArcelorMittal, where Johan enhanced technology maturity and streamlined IT procurement processes, and Systems Analyst/MES systems at ArcelorMittal South Africa. Johan holds a Management Advanced Program degree from Wits Business School and diplomas in Electrical Engineering from Vaal University of Technology.
