Michael Ortega

Michael Ortega has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Facilities and Equipment Manager and Process Specialist at THAT Corporation since July 2018. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing wafer polishing processes, operating and maintaining advanced wafer grinders, and conducting routine preventative maintenance on reactors. Prior to THAT Corporation, Michael held positions at Dielectric Solutions Inc as a Process Technician, where tasks involved managing CVD Poly Reactors, and at Reaction Technology Inc, where duties included handling DI Polysilicon wafers. Michael's career began at Moore Technologies Inc as a Process Engineer, collaborating with R&D on EPI reactors and ensuring the integrity of manufacturing processes through rigorous maintenance and calibration of equipment.
