President - Engineering Services Group

Greg Best serves as the President of the Engineering Services Group at Thayer Infrastructure Services, overseeing operations related to Fiber, Joint Use/Make Ready, and Electrical Power Utility engineering practices while also leading Mergers & Acquisitions efforts. Best is an active member of the Advisory Board of Governors at the Cranbrook Institute of Science, contributing to various committees. Previously, Best held the position of President at LeCom Utility Contractors, enhancing operations in power and fiber construction while emphasizing safety. Earlier roles at Thayer Infrastructure Services included Vice President positions in Business Development and Process Improvement, and extensive leadership experience was gained during tenure at GE Aerospace and GE Transportation. Best holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus.
