Ali Crew is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in radio and film festival direction. As Co-Founder and Director of SmartFone Flick Fest since 2015, Ali has played a pivotal role in launching Australia's international smartphone film festival, welcoming filmmakers of all ages. Concurrently serving as a Presenter and Producer at ABC NewsRadio, Ali has a rich background in news presentation, having worked with Australia’s major broadcasting networks, including roles as a Radio News Presenter at the Australian Radio Network and Smooth FM, and Co-Director of the inaugural Short+Sweet Film Festival. Ali's diverse experience spans from media spokesperson roles to PR account management, all rooted in a passion for storytelling and communication. Educated at The Actors Centre, Ali began a career in the media that showcases a strong commitment to engagement and creativity in broadcasting and event management.
