Andrew Webster

Andrew Webster is an experienced educator and media professional with a diverse background in journalism and teaching. Currently serving as a Teacher at the Queensland Department of Education since February 2023, Andrew specializes in teaching English and Media Arts. Since February 2019, Andrew has held the role of Supervising Producer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, overseeing digital content production for national and state news bulletins. Previous roles include Overnight Editor at ABC Digital, Digital Editor at The Australian, and Head of Digital at The Courier-Mail. Andrew has also contributed to academia as a University Lecturer and Tutor, focusing on media and communications at multiple universities. Andrew holds a Master's Degree in Teaching and a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Queensland University of Technology, along with a high school education in English Language and Literature.
