Bern Young

Bern Young is an experienced radio broadcaster currently with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since June 2000, holding various positions including Radio Presenter at ABC Gold Coast, Afternoons Host at ABC Perth, and Mornings Host at ABC Alice Springs. In addition to broadcasting, Bern has engaged in public speaking and event hosting, serving as an MC for prestigious events such as the EDGE 2018 National Architecture Conference and the TEDx Helensvale Library. Notably, Bern was the Voice of the Stadium during the Opening Ceremony of the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Bern's earlier career includes journalism roles at Triple J, the Seven Network, and Nine, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from The University of Queensland.
