Bhat Burhan

Bhat Burhan is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Producer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since April 2024, responsible for producing and researching a variety of news and current affairs content across multiple platforms. Prior roles include positions at Al Jazeera Media Network as a Photographer and Video Producer, and at DER SPIEGEL as a Video Producer. Bhat has also worked as a Reporter and Photographer at the South China Morning Post, The Daily Beast, and Insider, Inc., in addition to serving as a Producer at Voice of America. Experience also includes roles as a Photographer and Cinematographer at The Telegraph and The Christian Science Monitor, and as a Reporter at Nikkei Asia. Bhat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Cluster University of Srinagar.
