Bruce Berglund

Bruce Berglund is a distinguished academic and media professional currently serving as a Visiting Professor at the Institute of International Studies FSV UK since October 2024 and as an On Air Correspondent for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since January 2019, where reports focus on US politics, sports, and culture. Berglund's writing expertise is demonstrated through works for young readers at Capstone Publishers, as well as teaching non-fiction and grant writing courses at The Loft Literary Center. Previous roles include Communications Manager at Gustavus Adolphus College, Professor of History and Director of the Honors Program at Calvin College, and Assistant Director at the Center for Russian & East European Studies at The University of Kansas. Berglund holds a PhD in History from The University of Kansas, a Master’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a BA in History from the University of Minnesota.
