Clare Blumer

Clare Blumer is currently the Editor of Innovative Storytelling, Investigative Journalism & Current Affairs at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Clare was the Executive Producer at Triple J - ABC from November 2021 to August 2023 and served as Digital Lead for ABC Investigations from February 2015 to June 2022. Clare's extensive experience at ABC includes working as a digital journalist in various capacities, a radio producer, and a producer for the 7.30 program. Clare's career began at The Global Mail as a journalist and investigations intern, following work as Projects Officer at the Australian Major Performing Arts Group. Clare's early professional experience includes various roles at The Walt Disney Company. Clare holds a degree in Communications, Journalism from the University of Technology Sydney and an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting) from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
