David Karsten

David Karsten is a skilled script writer and producer currently working at Curtin University since July 2022, focusing on video content for University Marketing. With extensive experience as a field producer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since September 2021, David has directed multiple seasons of "Gardening Australia" and has held various non-live production roles at Tennis Australia and Nine, producing engaging content during major sporting events. Previous experiences include a range of production roles at Prospero Productions and FredBird Entertainment, as well as a strong background in television production with Nine, where David contributed to various specials and series. David holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Communication from WA Screen Academy and an Associate Diploma in Broadcasting from the WA Academy of Performing Arts.
